The Society has about 200 members on its records coming from various parts of Malta. Although the Society is based in Vittoriosa and its main focus is the preservation of the city’s historical heritage, its membership is open to all those who have at heart the national culture at large.
Several members of the Society have published books and articles in local and foreign periodicals concerning the history of Malta in general and of Vittoriosa in particular. Other members do voluntary work in connection with cultural, social and philanthropic initiatives.
The annual membership fee is EUR 3. A special rate of EUR 5 applies for married couple members. Students under the age of 18 years may also join and do not pay any fee.
